Arches Of Harlem

The Arches of Harlem aims to turn the Riverside Drive Viaduct into a public light-art installation. Focus Lighting, a Harlem-based architectural lighting group that has designed incredible projects in NYC from Times Square to Astoria, proposes to incorporate a new programmable lighting composition at the Riverside Drive Viaduct every three months. There's a twist --> each composition would be inspired by select works of historic artists and emerging local talent. For those who don't know the Riverside Drive Viaduct is a 50-foot-tall elevated steel roadway that runs from 125th to 135th Streets.
